Question

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-40420 by Nicola Sturgeon on 16 March 2011, how many NHS staff have received a wage increase as a result of the living wage introduced on 1 April 2011.


Answer

Scottish Government analysts estimate that approximately 4,600 NHS Scotland staff have received a wage increase as a result of the introduction of the living wage.
