Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning and welcome to the sixth meeting of the Education and Skills Committee in this session of Parliament. I remind everyone present to turn mobile phones and other devices to silent mode for the duration of the meeting. Apologies have been received from Johann Lamont, who is unwell, and Fulton MacGregor, who is unable to attend.

Agenda item 1 is consideration of whether to take in private item 4, under which the committee will discuss its approach to scrutiny of a legislative consent memorandum. Does the committee agree to take item 4 in private?
