Business Motion
The first item of business is consideration of business motion S2M-993, in the name of Patricia Ferguson, on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau, which sets out a timetable for the stage 3 consideration of the Vulnerable Witnesses (Scotland) Bill.
Motion moved,
That the Parliament agrees that, during the Stage 3 proceedings of the Vulnerable Witnesses (Scotland) Bill, debate on each part of those proceedings shall be brought to a conclusion by the time-limits indicated (each time-limit being calculated from when Stage 3 begins and excluding any periods when other business is under consideration or when the meeting of the Parliament is suspended or otherwise not in progress)
Groups 1 and 2 - no later than 45 minutes
Groups 3 and 4 - no later than 1 hour 10 minutes
Group 5 - no later than 1 hour 30 minutes
Groups 6 and 7 - no later than 1 hour 45 minutes
Group 8 - no later than 2 hours
Groups 9 to 11 - no later than 2 hours 30 minutes
