Decisions on Taking Business in Private

Good morning. I welcome members to the 19th meeting in 2017 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on whether to take in private item 6, which is a discussion on the commission on parliamentary reform. There is a paper from the clerks on that issue. Do we agree to take in private that paper and further papers on the commission on parliamentary reform at future meetings?

Members indicated agreement.

Agenda item 2 is a decision on whether to take in private at a future meeting the committee’s consideration of its approach to an inquiry into sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct at the Scottish Parliament. Do members agree to take that item in private?
