Decision on Taking Business in Private
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the 13th meeting in session 5 of the Local Government and Communities Committee. I remind everyone present to turn off mobile phones. As meeting papers are provided in digital format, members may use tablets during the meeting—that is what we are doing if we are on our iPads or whatever. We have received an apology from our deputy convener, Elaine Smith, who unfortunately is not able to be with us.
Agenda item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. Does the committee agree to take in private item 8, which is consideration of its draft letter to the Scottish Government on local government elections and voting?
