That the Parliament congratulates Kirsty Gilmour from Bothwell, South Lanarkshire for being selected for Team GB in badminton for the Tokyo Olympics; recognises that this is Kirsty’s second consecutive Olympics, and that she will be the only Briton competing in the women’s singles event, and wishes Kirsty success in both the Olympics and the Badminton Academy Social Enterprise that she has co-founded to grow her chosen sport and support her local community.
