Centre 81 Steering Group Supporting Clydebank Residents

That the Parliament commends the Centre 81 steering group in Clydebank for its incredible work, which supports and brings together the community; understands that the group was established in May 2018 with the aim of providing community services for residents in Clydebank, using Centre 81 in Whitecrook; notes that the group, which is made up of local volunteers, operates an after school youth club and also delivers school holiday programmes that see it engaging with over 80 young people; acknowledges the positive impact that such initiatives can have on the lives of individuals and families that may be living in difficult circumstances, and applauds all those involved in providing this vital service.
