That the Parliament congratulates the Italian men’s national football team on its Euro 2020 victory; notes that Italy defeated England in the final at Wembley on 11 July 2021 after the match finished 1-1 after extra time, with Italy winning 3-2 on penalties; recognises that this was Italy's second European championship victory, following success in 1968 and that, along with four World Cup victories, this means the Italian national side has won six major international tournaments; believes that this victory will be warmly welcomed by Italians living in Scotland and around the world, and sends the Azzurri its best wishes.
