That the Parliament congratulates Banchory Community Council on receiving the Banchory Coat of Arms; recognises that this was presented to the Community Council by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, Dr Joseph Morrow, CBE, QC, LLD, DL, and acknowledges that this is an important moment in the town’s history and a celebration of the contribution of the town to the north east.
