Charlie Adam Elected Vice President of NFU Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates Charlie Adam of Leochel Cushnie, Alford, on his election as vice president of NFU Scotland; recognises that Charlie grew up farming and has devoted his entire working career to the farming industry; acknowledges that he started his own farm in 1982, which has enjoyed great success; recognises that he was previously chairman of the NFU Dee and Don branch for four years, including one as north east regional vice chair; notes that he was then elected north east regional chairman, serving for three years; understands that he also represented the north east on the Livestock Committee from 2013, and has been the committee's chairman for the last five years, and wishes him every success in his new role.
