To ask the Scottish Government whether it will ensure that GPs are made aware of the possible danger to health of exposure to vibroacoustic factors in the workplace, particularly in the maritime industry.

Answered by Maureen Watt (03/03/2016):

I refer the member to the answer to question S4W-29112 on 13 January 2016. All answers to written parliamentary questions are available on the Parliament’s website, the search facility for which can be found at http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/28877.aspx.

I can confirm that the Scottish Government has no plans to provide information on this matter to GPs.
