Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week 2021

That the Parliament welcomes Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week, which takes place from 25 to 31 October 2021, as it celebrates its fifth year; notes the many benefits that sport and physical activity can provide, including physical, mental and social health; considers that the initiative creates greater visibility for women and girls in sport, and calls on MSPs to engage with their communities to support grassroots organisations and clubs to create opportunities for women and girls to participate and progress through sport and physical activity.
