Meallmore Care Home Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Kamila Rzepka and Yvonne Gilroy on being recognised for their outstanding dedication in the Meallmore Care Homes Awards, winning Nurse of the Year and Senior Care Worker of the Year respectively; further congratulates Gillian Weissenborn, from Daviot Care Home, on winning the Carer of the Year category, and Jody Marshall, who is based at Meallmore’s head office in Inverness, on winning the Head Office and Field Based Support Team category; understands that members of staff, residents and family members from all of the Meallmore group’s 26 care homes across Scotland joined virtually for the 10th annual awards ceremony; notes that Meallmore Care Homes employs approximately 1,700 people across Scotland, and commends the efforts of all those working in the care sector who continue to support older and vulnerable people through the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic.
