Recognising the Venture Trust

That the Parliament congratulates the Venture Trust on its continued support for people who are struggling with involvement in Scotland’s criminal justice system, long-term unemployment and mental health and wellbeing; understands that one such service offered in Fife, Clackmannanshire and elsewhere is the Outdoor Therapy Service, which supports people by combining the benefits of time spent in nature and outdoors with professional therapy to improve mental health and wellbeing; notes that this is a free, confidential service for 16- to 25-year-olds and ex-service personnel, and commends staff for their continued hard work in providing these services.
