That the Parliament commends Izzy Collingwood, who is 10, and Isla Amon, who recently turned 12, for their successful completion of the 96-mile West Highland Way; understands that the friends are members of the acclaimed Scotia Amateur Swimming Club, which is based in the Leisuredrome, Bishopbriggs; applauds Izzy and Isla on identifying and championing the need to start urgent fundraising to sustain the club financially during these challenging times; thanks all who supported the girls through their online crowd-funding page, raising around £3,000; pays tribute to the determination and tenacity of Isla and Izzy, and their fathers, Nick and Chris, in undertaking the hike from Milngavie to Fort William in just under six days; applauds Nick and Chris for their passion for keeping active through their membership of the club and regular training for triathlon and running events, and wishes all at the club every success in continuing to motivate and coach swimmers to reach their potential, to enable them to compete locally and nationally in the coming months and years.
