That the Parliament recognises the work of Carers Link East Dunbartonshire, which was founded in 2004, in supporting unpaid carers; notes that Carers Week 2021 runs from 7 to 13 of June with the theme of making unpaid carers visible and valued; commends Carers Link on its work to help promote support and advocate on behalf of unpaid carers in the community; recognises the ongoing challenges that the organisation faces due to the COVID-19 pandemic; commends the hard work of its staff and volunteer board members to adapt in these challenging times, including through the distribution of digital equipment to keep carers connected to support groups, and believes that there must greater support provided to unpaid carers and that their voices must be heard throughout the current parliamentary session and beyond.
