Volunteers’ Week 2021

That the Parliament notes that Volunteers’ Week 2021 will take place from 1 to 7 June 2021; recognises the tremendous efforts of all of those who have volunteered to deliver services and support to others, especially over the past 12 months, on the 37th annual Volunteers’ Week; acknowledges the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had in preventing people who would usually volunteer from doing so for a number of reasons, and commends the work of Mike Melvin, co-ordinator at ACVO Third Sector Interface, for championing the third sector in Aberdeen and doing so much to encourage others to volunteer.
