Pitlochry Festival Theatre's 70th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary; notes that the theatre first opened on 19 May 1951, with the British premiere of Maxwell Anderson’s Mary of Scotland; further notes that the theatre went on to attract around 100,000 people each year and that it plans to build a second performance space as it looks to the future, and wishes Pitlochry Festival Theatre all the best with its plans.
