Aberdeen Firm Woollard and Henry Ltd Earns Second Royal Accolade

That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen-based manufacturing and engineering services firm, Woollard and Henry Ltd (W&H), on being awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, which marks outstanding achievement by UK businesses in innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility; notes that this is the second time since 2009 that it has received this accolade, following an extensive application process, as well as meeting a rigorous criteria; recognises that W&H has been operating for over 140 years and that, since embarking on employee ownership in 2002, it has continued to grow, with productivity and profits increasing by tenfold; commends all of the team at W&H in Aberdeen, and throughout the UK and Europe, on this achievement, and wishes them, and the company, continued success.
