  • Submitted by: Fulton MacGregor, Coatbridge and Chryston, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 24 February 2021
  • Motion reference: S5M-24230

That the Parliament recognises that 22 to 28 February 2021 is Victims Awareness Week, with the Your Space social media campaign coinciding with events happening across Europe to mark the European Day for Victims of Crime on 22 February; understands that the theme this year is to highlight the range of practical and emotional support and information Victim Support Scotland has available for victims and witnesses, and their families and friends, in courts and the community, and commends the hard work of Victim Support Scotland’s dedicated staff and volunteers who offer invaluable support in Coatbridge and Chryston and across Scotland.
