  • Date lodged: Thursday, 22 October 2020
  • Motion reference: S5M-23116

That the Parliament congratulates the Director of HMP Kilmarnock, Craig Thomson, on being awarded the prestigious Prince Philip Medal; recognises that HRH The Princess Royal, the President of City & Guilds, personally awarded Craig with this medal; further recognises that this prestigious award is given to one individual each year who has, to quote Prince Philip when he inaugurated the award, “walked the City & Guilds path” in building a successful and impactful career, which in this case covers a period of 35 years within the Scottish Prison Service; commends Craig for this fabulous achievement, and wishes him well for the future.
