Congratulating Garelochhead Station Trust on its Successful Award from the Asda Foundation Grants

That the Parliament thanks the Asda Foundation for awarding Garelochhead Station Trust a grant of £400; congratulates the trust on its ongoing work in the community, providing information, support, training and social opportunities for veterans and their families; understands that the trust will use this award to fund a D-Day 80-year anniversary event, with food for veterans and their families, and resources for volunteers to use at this event and others in the future, and further understands that, over the last two years, the Asda Foundation has invested more than £1.5 million in community projects and good causes in Scotland that have made a real difference to the wider community.
