That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Lads' Club for a century of service to the young people of Aberdeen; understands that while the Lads' Club has called different parts of Aberdeen home over the decades, from the Gallowgate and Mounthooly to Woodside, it has been a mainstay of the Tillydrone community for the past 40 years; welcomes the efforts of the club in supporting the young people of Aberdeen throughout their lives, starting with a Parent and Toddler club, through an Early Years Nursery and After School Club, to Junior and Senior Youth Clubs and Holiday Clubs, as well as offering a wider Family Support service, and wishes Aberdeen’s Lads’ Club all of the very best for its next 100 years serving the young people of Aberdeen.
