That the Parliament commends the exceptional efforts of the pupils and staff from Taylor High School in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, and congratulates them on their remarkable achievement in raising an incredible £4,200 for St Andrews Hospice in North Lanarkshire; understands that the fundraising efforts unfolded over the course of 2023, with S1 pupils conquering Tinto Hill, S4 pupils and above completing a 6K run around Strathclyde Park, and S6 pupils and staff scaling the summit of Ben Nevis; further understands that the S6 pupils, in their capacity as St Andrews Hospice ambassadors, held various other fundraising events, including the sale of homemade tablet and other sweet treats; acknowledges that this generous donation will support St Andrews Hospice in providing specialist palliative care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, while also extending crucial support to their families and loved ones; considers that this endeavour is an exemplary demonstration of outstanding fundraising, and applauds wholeheartedly every pupil and staff member for what it sees as their commendable enthusiasm and dedication.
