Cambuslang Resident Opening Business on Christmas Day to Offer Company for Others

That the Parliament praises Jordan Trainer, from Cambuslang, for what it sees as the kind-hearted decision to open his shop on Christmas Day in response to customers saying that they would be celebrating the occasion alone; notes that Jordan is the owner of Plantique, which specialises in the sale of plants, vintage items and gifts on Dumbarton Road in Partick, Glasgow; understands that the shop will be open between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm on 25 December 2023; believes that, while Christmas is a time for connecting with friends and family, it can also be a time of real loneliness for many, and thanks everyone across all sectors, from care to hospitality, that will be working on Christmas Day.
