Congratulations to Mid Scotland and Fife Regional Winners Named as Finalists in Countryside Alliance Awards 2023

That the Parliament congratulates four Mid Scotland and Fife regional winners named as finalists in the Countryside Alliance Awards 2023; notes that the following businesses have been named as finalists, Hunters of Kinross in the Butcher category, Loch Leven Larder of Perth and Kinross in the Local Food and Drink category, The Taybank of Perthshire in the Pub category, and Hogg of Fife in the Rural Enterprise category; understands that the awards celebrate rural businesses that go the extra mile to support their local economy and that the general public nominate their favourites; believes that the applicants are judged on a range of criteria, including their passion and commitment, sense of community, championing local food, and the energy and diversity of their business; extends its very best wishes to all the Mid Scotland and Fife region winners for their continued success in the national stage of the competition, which will be announced in May 2023, and for the future.
