Puneet Gupta Receives OBE

That the Parliament congratulates Puneet Gupta, co-owner and joint chief executive officer of PG Paper, on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in The King's New Year's Honours list for 2023; acknowledges that the OBE was for services to business, charity and the community in Scotland; notes that Greenock-based PG Paper is one of Scotland's largest exporters and works in over 60 different countries across five continents; acknowledges that Puneet is involved with a number of charity projects, which focus on issues including improving outcomes for disadvantaged children and environmental sustainability; notes that Puneet's community work has included working with local community partnerships and initiatives, and sponsoring several cultural events within the Scottish Parliament, and wishes Puneet all the best as he continues his portfolio of work into the future.
