That the Parliament congratulates a number of Scots who were included in the 2022 Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Volunteer Awards at a ceremony hosted by RYA President, HRH Princess Anne, in London recently; understands that lifetime achievement awards were given to Arlene and John McNeilage of Cove Sailing Club; appreciates that Arlene has run the cadet training scheme for over 20 years, and John has been involved, since he was a boy, serving in several roles on the committee, including Commodore; applauds Claire Watson, of Cove, who received a Young Volunteer Award; recognises their contribution to the sport and the impact that they have all made in their communities, and wishes them every success in the future.
