PC Donald MacLeod Retires After 24 Years in the Police Force

That the Parliament congratulates PC Donald MacLeod on his retirement from the Police Force after 24 years, the last 18 of which he has served in Ballater; understands that he joined what was then Grampian police in 1998, after six years of service in the Army, and was first stationed in Banchory, before transferring to Inverurie and Kemnay and then Ballater in 2004; further understands that, alongside his service in the force, he has also been a proud member of the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team for 22 years and will continue to volunteer for the team after his retirement from the police force; commends PC MacLeod for what it sees as his exceptional service over the last 24 years, particularly to the people of Deeside over the last 18 years, and wishes him an enjoyable retirement.
