That the Parliament congratulates Thomas O’Reilly and William Retson of Sparta Boxers, in Grangemouth, on competing at the GB Schools Three Nations Championship boxing tournament in Dundee; notes that the competition brought together entrants from Scotland, England and Wales on 18-19 June 2022; understands that Thomas competed in the Male Schools 52kg Final and William in the Schools 57kg division; further congratulates Thomas for his successful gold medal in his weight division; understands that the Scotland team achieved five gold medals in total over the weekend, contributing to Scotland’s team total of eighteen gold medals for this season following previous competitions; congratulates Thomas and William on their recent competition, and looks forward to hearing of their future successes in boxing for the Scotland team.
