  • Motion reference: S6M-04489

That the Parliament commends the efforts of Barbie Turnbull, from Falkirk, and Toria Govan, from Bolton-le-Sands, who together have raised over £1,450 of a £860 target for MS Society UK; understands that the sisters are taking part in the Big Leap skydive event near Perth on 29 May 2022 to support research on the treatment of remitting and relapsing multiple sclerosis; applauds their efforts to raise awareness of the resource, Living Well with MS, which highlights the importance of self-management and self-care, healthy diet and exercise; appreciates that Toria must overcome her fear of heights to undertake this skydive; acknowledges the support and positivity that they have received from family, friends and colleagues while preparing for this challenge; congratulates them on their fundraising venture, and wishes them well on the day.
