Maritime Developments Limited Wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeenshire engineering specialist, Maritime Developments Limited (MDL) on being awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category; understands that MDL, which is one of 226 businesses across the UK to receive the award, was recognised for outstanding continuous growth in overseas sales, with a 192% growth in exports over the past six years; commends MDL on what it sees as its valuable contributions to the North Sea fishing, oil and gas, and wider energy sectors; recognises what it sees as the importance of outstanding businesses such as MDL to the local and national economy, and wishes the company all the best for the future.
