Congratulations to Peebles for Hosting International Festival of Cinema

That the Parliament understands that the International Festival of Cinema will be taking place in Peebles between 19 to 24 April 2022; further understands that this event is dedicated to providing a platform for emerging talent in the independent film industry; understands that it will showcase independent feature films, short films and documentaries, with special events and Q&A sessions, and welcomes the opportunities that it believes, the event will provide for the promotion of independent cinema across the country and additionally, for tourism in Peebles and the Scottish Borders.
