  • Submitted by: Fulton MacGregor, Coatbridge and Chryston, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 04 April 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-03888

That the Parliament congratulates the Stepps Pharmacy and Travel Clinic on being announced as a finalist in the Scottish Pharmacist Awards Community Pharmacy Team of the Year category; understands that the awards recognise the diligent and hard work that pharmacies undertake for local communities; notes that Stepps Pharmacy and Travel Clinic staff member, Lyndsey McGuire has also made the list of finalists for the Pharmacy Team Member of the Year award; praises Lyndsey for embracing many huge changes, which, it understands, have taken place in the pharmacy in the past two years of new ownership; acknowledges that Lyndsey goes out of her way to train the less experienced staff; understands that she has become incredibly proficient in robotics, and that she recently qualified last year as a checking technician, and wishes the entire team at Stepps Pharmacy and Travel clinic the best of luck at the awards and into the future.
