As an amendment to motion S4M-08530 in the name of Siobhan McMahon (City of Edinburgh Council (Portobello Park) Bill), insert at end "and, in so doing, values assurances that compensatory green space will be protected in perpetuity, notes that the Bill sets no specific precedent for the appropriation of other land and welcomes the committee's recommendation that the Bill be amended to protect the site's inalienable common good status."
