Question
To ask the Scottish Government whether environmental protections would be reduced in any Scottish investment zones.
Answer
As the First Minister has made clear, the creation of any Investment Zones here would have to reflect the devolution settlement, particularly as it relates to environmental protection. The Scottish Government is committed to a programme of enhancing nature protections and delivering nature restoration.
