Question
To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) regarding the proposed guidance regarding the use of cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBMPs).
Answer
Scottish Government officials and key stakeholders have been actively engaged in the development of the draft guidance, recently published for consultation. The final guidelines are expected to be published in November 2019 and, if it is appropriate to do so a Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) guideline or equivalent will be developed.
