Question

To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) prosecutions and (b) convictions there have been in each year since 2007 for the sale of tobacco products to under-18-year-olds.


Answer

The number of people prosecuted and convicted in Scottish Courts for offences under the Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937 Section 18(1) and Tobacco and Primary Medical Services (Scotland) Act 2010 Section 4(1) is given in the following table.
