Question
To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it is having with Devro PLC regarding the closure of its Bellshill plant.
Answer
I have spoken with both the company and Union representatives to offer the full support of the Scottish Government. Scottish Enterprise is engaging with the company to establish how it can provide assistance. PACE has already been in contact with the company to offer support to any employees who may be facing redundancy. Our support will continue throughout the consultation period and beyond.
