Question
To ask the Scottish Government what steps it is taking to ensure that people who have had gender reassignment can have their new gender reflected in their medical records.
Answer
<>When a request to change details resulting from a change of gender is received, the patient's GP shall inform NHS National Services Scotland who then contact the patient to ensure the correct entries are held on the relevant systems.
