Question
To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent on prescription charges and how many prescription prepayment certificates have been issued in each year since May 1999, broken down by parliamentary constituency.

Table 1 shows thetotal prescription charge revenue collected from community pharmacists, dispensingdoctors, appliance suppliers and from the sale of prescription pre-paymentcertificates by NHS boards from the financial year ending 31 March 2001 to 31 March 2007. Figures for earlieryears are not available.
