Import of Animals and Animal Products and Approved Countries (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulation 2022

Item 3 is consideration of a consent notification for a UK statutory instrument. I refer members to papers 3 and 4.

If members have no comments, is the committee content to agree with the Scottish Government’s decision to consent to the provisions that are set out in the notification being included in UK rather than Scottish subordinate legislation?

Members indicated agreement.

Is the committee also content to delegate to me authority to respond to the Government and, in so doing, include the information that is set out in paragraph 2 of annex A of paper 4?

Members indicated agreement.
