As an amendment to motion S5M-00280 in the name of Angela Constance (Taking Scotland Forward - Creating a Fairer Scotland), leave out from “, to build” to end and insert “; notes the importance of affordable housing in tackling inequality; supports building 60,000 affordable homes with 45,000 for social rent, and further recognises the need for a higher top rate of tax for the richest earners so that this can be redistributed to tackle wider inequalities.”
