As an amendment to motion S5M-00280 in the name of Angela Constance (Taking Scotland Forward - Creating a Fairer Scotland), leave out from “to do so” to end and insert “; supports proposals to have fairness, respect and dignity at the heart of Scotland’s social security system; emphasises that such a system should help those who want to work find employment through ongoing support, and further supports proposals to build 50,000 affordable homes as part of a broader all-tenure 100,000 housebuilding target, empower communities and people, reduce poverty and inequalities in Scotland and to build towards a stronger country.”
