That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Rugby Union on achieving a record turnover of £52.7 million in the 2017-18 season, an 11% rise of £5.8 million on the previous season and a 63% rise in income growth since 2011; notes that this has generated a surplus of £1.8 million, which it considers among the highest ever recorded for the organisation, and that these financial results have enabled Scottish Rugby Union to record its lowest average debt in the professional era, and wishes it continued success in the upcoming season.
