That the Parliament congratulates the Silver Circle on June 2017 marking its 20th anniversary; commends it on the services that it provides for older and vulnerable people from Lecht to Lumsden, includes a lunch club, shopping bus, monthly book club and a hospital volunteer driving scheme that offers transport to attend medical appointments in Aberdeen and the surrounding area, and praises its volunteers on helping to ensure that these services are available to people in rural Aberdeenshire who otherwise might have been isolated.
