Congratulations to Douglas Ewart High School and Electric Theatre Workshop Ltd

That the Parliament congratulates Douglas Ewart High School in Newton Stewart and Electric Theatre Workshop Ltd in Dumfries on their successful funding applications to Awards for All Scotland; recognises that between them they have secured a total of £19,050 of funding; understands that Douglas Ewart High School will use these funds to purchase new sporting equipment to be used by the school's extracurricular clubs and supporting pupils to take part in more sporting activity; further understands that the Electric Theatre Workshop group will use its money to train eight local community leaders to promote and encourage participation in the annual Big Burns Supper, which is a festival dedicated to an array of art events and creative inputs from local communities and organisations, and sends both organisations its best wishes.
