Friends of the Pentlands Wins the Public Vote

That the Parliament congratulates Friends of the Pentlands on winning the public vote in Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative; understands that they will receive funding of £12,000 for their project that will focus on the Harlaw Visitor Centre near Currie in Edinburgh; notes that local school children will be involved in planting a wild flower meadow and community orchard, and building a willow tunnel and den; further notes that the project includes the design and building of a drystone planter that is accessible to young wheelchair users, and recognises that this project will assist pupils work towards their John Muir Award.
