New Apprenticeship Programme from the NAFC Marine Centre

That the Parliament notes the recent approval of a new professional development programme at the NAFC Marine Centre in Aquaculture Management; understands that this programme is the first of its kind and is designed to allow experienced aquaculture staff to gain experience in senior management while continuing their employment; further understands that the 24-month programme will be flexible enough to allow participants to fit their studies around their work and other responsibilities; welcomes this addition to the aquaculture industry, and looks forward to seeing further development of vocational training in this area.
