Ninth Tesco Neighbourhood Food Collection

That the Parliament welcomes the ninth annual neighbourhood food collection, which was run by Tesco from 1 to 3 December 2016 in all of its stores, in partnership with the foodbank charity, Trussell Trust, and FareShare, a charity that distributes food; notes that, since 2012, Tesco customers have collected over 38 million meals to help feed people in need, and applauds the company's ongoing efforts to encourage people to donate long-life food to charity at any of the 600 permanent collection points in its stores.
